COUNSELLING

We all face challenges in our lives that can leave us feeling uncertain, unknowing of ourselves and adrift at times. Counselling is a supportive and collaborative process to help you gain greater understanding and more confidence in working through the challenges you face.

I work with adults of all ages and all genders. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs in collaboration with you.
Issues I am specialised in working with are:trauma and a range of eating and body image issues.

ABOUT ME

I have completed a Masters of Counselling Studies and a Certificate of Traumatic Stress Studies. I am also trained in CBT-E and DBT and am committed to ongoing professional development.

I moved to Wellington in 2007 from Cardiff, Wales, UK. I originally trained in drama before working as a facilitator and trainer working with a range of issues including areas of consultation, participation, inclusion and play. My work with young people and adults, combined with my personal experiences, led me on the path to retraining as a counsellor.

I am a mother of two teen children and have lived experience of managing chronic illness.
